Round and Oval Our enthusiastic team uses high-tech tools and materials to produce state of the art exhaust systems. Systems that are much lighter, perform better, fit perfectly, and increase cornering clearance, with the distinctive BOS sound as an added bonus, of course. You can recognize a BOS system by our name plate but also by the outstanding style, performance and quality.
Only when there is sufficient power gain a system makes it to production line. If any adjustments have to be made to the bike, jets or technical tips are included. Available in circuit or EC approved versions with round or oval shaped mufflers with carbon, titanium or aluminum sleeves. GT Series For a range of new models we have designed special silencers instead of other brands, which use normal sport silencers. These BOS silencers are round and have a different end cap; this end cap is without the end pipe and looks shorter than a silencer with one. These will be produced in aluminium, carbon and a new polished stainless steel version. They also have a special connection pipe, like our competition models, which allow a sharper bend than the original system.
For some systems like the XJR1200-1300 we use special brackets to re-locate the passenger footrests higher. This is so that the angle of the silencers can be more upwards and sporty, original silencers are mounted almost horizontal. Because of this the ground clearance of the bike is increased for more aggressive cornering. GP-1 Series The hottest design in silencers since the oval. This exclusive shape makes it perfect for bolt-on models because the big original mounting flange doesn't stick out like on smaller shapes. Slip-on models of the GP-1 feature a new conical shaped adapter piece that connects to the BOS adapter pipe.
The tail pipes are specially tig welded and all the parts are made of stainless steel, which has a highly polished finish by hand. Later this season we will also produce a full titanium limited edition GP-1 silencer that will be ultra light. All sport silencers come with a removable dB eater baffle and will be produced with aluminum and carbon sleeves. The complete range will also be 'Ec' approved with better sound & performance in comparison to the heavy originals. GP-1 are not available for all models. Competition This extreme high level can always be mounted on the bike with the original passenger footrests, but turn signals have to be re-located. BOS has a unique mounting system which is much more solid than his competitors.
